Dead Last: No Escape is an iOS game that I built using the cocos2d game engine. The original gameplay mechanic was something I created trying to teach myself the fundamentals of game programming. Later I partnered with Rocksauce Studios to bring the vision to life using zombies as the medium.
The game play is a fast paced frenzy of taps as you try to fight back hordes of the undead. Your only goal is to survive as long as you can. Power-ups and bombs will aid you but there ultimately is no escape. There are three unique levels and difficulties, Game Center integration, consumables, in-app purchases, ad mediation, personal stats, gameplay analytics, and social sharing. We launched the game at SXSW 2016.
